Made in Heaven is a dance theatre show by the Mark Bruce Company.

This was the first project that I did for the Mark Bruce Company. I produced two trailers at different stages of production along with the graphic identity for the show.

Mark's work is very 'filmic' and narrative based so it was important for me that the trailers gave a flavour of the show without telling the wrong story. I focused on hinting at different narratives to allow the viewers to fill in the gaps as they wished.

The first trailer on the page was shot when the production was on already on it's feet. The second is a pre-production trailer that includes black and white footage of rehearsals shot by Mark Bruce as well as colour footage that I shot.

Here is some of the graphic identity work I produced for Made in Heaven.

It was great fun to bring objects and elements from the show into the logo design options. We went for something quite simple in the end but I am still fond of some of the other logos, particularly where I combine illustration and typography.
